MEDITATION FOCUS: KINDNESS (V)
Proverbs 3:3-4 "Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man."
Kindness may seem simple, but it holds the power to transform hearts and environments. When we allow kindness find expression through us, it breaks down walls, heals brokenness, and calls people back to Christ. Kindness breaks down walls that pride and pain have built. It enters rooms where anger has shut the door and gently knocks with mercy. The broken-hearted begin to hope again. The estranged feel the pull of reconciliation. And those far from Christ begin to see Him; not through a sermon, but through a heart that reflects His.
Jesus was a perfect example of kindness. He often led with kindness. The woman at the well, the tax collector in the tree, the outcast on the roadside. He met them not with condemnation but with compassion. His kindness opened hearts to receive truth. As His followers, we are called to do the same. Kindness breaks down walls; walls of fear, offense, and isolation. It heals deep wounds and mends broken relationships.
Today, will you be His hands and feet?
Will you choose kindness, even when it’s inconvenient? Will you speak the gentle word, extend the helping hand, offer the forgiving heart? Because someone’s healing may begin with your obedience. Kindness isn’t just good manners, it’s a reflection of God’s heart. Let someone encounter Christ through your kindness today.
SAY THIS - SEE IT - SIEZE IT
This meditation is designed to help you reflect on the significance of kindness; the responsibility it carries and the transformation it should produce in our lives.
So, let's MUTTER the following to ourselves repeatedly:
- Love and Faithfulness shall never leave me. I bind them around my neck like a holy garment. I write them on the tablet of my heart as I reflect the heart of Christ in Jesus Mighty name. (AS YOU DEEPLY REFLECT ON THIS, GENTLY MUTTER IT TO YOURSELF REPEATEDLY)
- I am a vessel of God's compassion. I will not be overcome by evil, but I will overcome evil with good in Jesus Mighty name. (PRAY IN TONGUES UNTIL YOU SENSE THE NEED TO BE SILENT)
- Remain silent and attentively receive the proceeding word from God, whether it comes through your thoughts, a brief vision, a mental picture, a scripture, etc
